Running a wedding focused business is no easy feat. From branding, to pricing, to marketing, to client relations - creative entrepreneurs have a lot of balls to juggle. I launched The Blush Creative in 2016 with the aim to deepen the knowledge and styling skills of individuals interested or involved in wedding planning.

This past February we had the pleasure of hosting 15 new attendees for an inspiring weekend of non-stop styling and business education. It truly is one of my favourite weekends of the year and I was blown away by the talent and commitment of our group. Our guest speakers included Scarlet O'Neill, Studio Bicyclette, and Hunt and Gather.

We had so many incredible contributors including Plate Occasions, The Linen Closet, Elle Cuisine, Greenhouse Juice Co., Wedding Bells, Kitten and The Bear, Tealish, Le Dolci, Rowan Homespun, Misfits Studio, Wildcraft

April 2017, The great hall

We had almost 20 hours of non-stop sessions, hands on styling, and connecting in the busy weekend. And we are so thankful to say that we feel like we really made a difference in the lives and businesses of those who attended.

You may ask, what was our why in starting this workshop? Well we truly believe Toronto needs this workshop. We see a lot of wedding planners out there, some thriving but many struggling with focus, branding, and having a clear story and voice. We wanted to build a safe, supportive place for wedding entrepreneurs to not just figure out what it is they are doing but WHY! And how they can actually find a distinct style and approach to their business that will bring incredible value to their clients and a deep sense of meaning to their lives.

We had so many incredible contributors including The Great Hall, Plate Occasions, The Linen Closet, Warehouse 84, ProvisionsTO, The Tempered Room, Greenhouse Juice Co., Wedding Bells, Sugi Tree Studio, Kitten and The Bear, Sloane Tea, Le Dolci, Rowan Homespun, Misfits Studio, Wildcraft and Affine Decor
